Oceans Charleston 2018 a great success!

Finally recovering from an exciting an successful Oceans Conference in Charleston October 22-25! The goal was to raise the bar and it certainly was raised with two exciting plenary session ushered in with a wonderful presentation by RADM David J. Hahn, Chief of Naval Research and followed by interviews through live connections and to the NOAA Ship Okeanos and the R/V Atlantis owned by the USN-ONR and operated by WHOI both of which were hosted through RDML Tim Gallaudet.

The Exhibit floor held over 100 exhibitors from around the globe and hosted over 900 technical talks with over 1450 registered attendees. All lunches, breaks and many awards presentations took place in the Exhibit Hall, which pleased the commercial community! Flynn-Tech lines exhibiting were: XEOS Technologies, Ocean Sonics, FALMAT, Greensea, Deepsea Power & Light. Glenair also hosted a great capabilities booth. In addition, the good people from Severn Marine Technologies, EOM Offshore and Teledyne Energy attended to hold meetings with some of our current and prospective clients! Reports from the show floor and from the attendees indicated that this was one of the best Oceans conferences ever! I couldn't agree more completely!
